Alex and sierra on xf USA did a decent acoustic version in their audition and it sounded cool.

One of the best pop songs of the 21st century is hardly dated. If anything I'm glad she's not going to bore me to death with her guitar version of it.

I don't think she changed her song because it was dated. I think enough people are familiar enough with the various acoustic versions that praising Emily for being original and changing up the song would backfire

It's not about Britney as an artist, it's the song 'Toxic'. Which is one of the most iconic pop songs of the last few decades...
