CS Cathy
I am quite behind with Corrie and have been watching Friday 23rd September today and I know we have discussed this before but Cathy gets more and more unlike able the more I see her (There is only Sean that I find more unlike able than her). She expected Roy to pay a deposit for a flat for Alex (when Alex is nothing to do with Roy and Roy sensibly didn't trust Phelan so said no). She forgot Roy's birthday and always moaning at him for the way he is and saying he is insensitive, doesn't give enough affection when it is likely he has aspergers and struggles to deal with emotion. No one in the street seems to think she is bad for him and all seem to side with her and tell Roy to change. Cathy is frumpy, critical and shouting. She is even horrible to Alex who has downs syndrome. I honestly can't think of one moment I have liked Cathy and whoever created her character and the storyline with Roy should feel ashamed of themselves.

i agree the character is somewhat dislikeable, however because Roy is so introverted i think he need a turbulent pairing for drama.

She is not good enough for Roy and will never be able to fill Hayley's shoes or anorak.!
She only thinks of herself and is always bemoaning her lot in life. Perhaps that's why her husband went over the side with Nessa. Can't say I blame him at all. Poor Roy, he does everything to make her happy and she could turn the milk sour in the Cafe with her surly musch. Horrible character, didn't like her in The Bill either. She wasn't much better in Waterloo Road. Just think once she was the love of Sean Bean's life in R/L.
