Do the professional dancers take any notice of 'It Takes Two'?

Jay and Aliona were talking about a usual week last year and Jay said, occasionally on Mondays Aliona would say "give me 10 minutes- I got nothing" and would stick her headphones in and choreograph something at lightning speed whilst Jay would lie down and have a rest. I believe any pro well versed in the 10 dances would be able to do this, esp after years of practice.

I'd imagine in the days of Darren and Lilia when the pros had full control, they'd probably have basic routines done to their music in advance of the show beginning and just tweak them if necessary.

I suppose if the pros still find out the music in advance of the show they can still come up with something in advance and again tweak it as necessary but occasionally that may get binned once you know your celebs ability and personality.

I honestly don't believe they get help with the main 10 dancers (although I could be wrong) because you really do see their style and personalities through their choreography.

And I don't want to be mean but the pros who have less experience in the 10 dances pretty much always have lower content routines with more faffing.

If there was a team of choreographers I don't think we'd see those big differences.

Also J&A last year, IIRC their AT choreographer said they choreographed the middle section and Aliona did the start and the end in a blog or something.

As for asking each other for help I'd imagine they probably do, especially the couples- after all they'll still be together in the evenings after rehearsing. I also think come Friday the male pros probably help the male celebs and female pros help females. Anton and Erin used to help each other often to give the celeb the another perspective once one was eliminated.
