New Three SIM "No Service" - but only on one phone!
I've bought my daughter a cheap Three plan for my wife's old iPhone 6 (let's call it iPhone A) and put the new SIM in a couple of days ago - it's been showing No Service ever since.
The new Three SIM works fine in my iPhone (iPhone B) so I'm guessing the obvious answer is that iPhone A is locked to a network (not sure which network it was originally on as wife is away). But then iPhone A does work if I put SIM cards from both BT and Tesco in so now I'm not sure if it is indeed locked and if it isn't, why would the Three SIM not work? |

iPhone A should work as it's clearly unlocked as it works with a Three UK sim as you mentioned and that it works through BT (Which uses EE) and Tesco Mobile which uses O2. That's two different networks it's able to connect to.
Is your iPhone A from another location other than the UK? as oversea devices sometimes have a impact on towers they connect to. |
