Anyone else not watching X Factor anymorr after Honey G and Octtavio and Bradley got through ?. Talented singers let go with no sign of a twist to bring anyone else back. The lineup looks boring and no one stands out for me

The final 12 is only poor if you don't like any of the acts. I really like 2 of them so for me its about the same as any other year.

And all are fairly young and commercially relevant this year (joke acts aside)

At least we wont have to watch another Sam Bailey or Andrea Faustini racking the votes when we know the only place they are headed is musical theatre!

One of these 10 might actually have a shot at a music career!

Doubt it very much.

I expected Honey G to go through. I can't help but find her amusing. I don't quite get the joke with the two lads - is it because they are gay?

We usually have a joke act. That is not surprising. Two of them is too much.

This would have been easier to take if the contestants we had connected to during the auditions had been chosen but for the majority of us, they have not. Out of the acts chosen, the only one I liked was 5 AM. Could see why Matt was picked and Relley is a good singer. But it's all a bit 'meh' for the rest of them. I wanted to see James Wilson, Peyton, Caitlyn, Christian, Niall, and possibly Kayleigh progress and they have all gone. Judging by the facebook comments everyone seems to feel the same. It seems to be the least popular final 12 ever.

This is just my opinion as to why the acts you mentioned didn't progress -
James Wilson - I liked but then I am at the older end of the typical X factor viewer range but undoubtedly he'd have been another who did really well in the show but then had no commercial success to note (middle aged women aren't the ones buying music or concert tickets generally!)
Peyton I also liked and must confess I'm at a bit of a loss as to why he didn't progress perhaps due to him already having achieved some significant commercial success?
Caitlyn Now this is the interesting one I think she was chosen by TPTB for a top three finish or a possible win but the stories then came out about her being a bully! Given that she had spoken about being bullied at her first audition she was all set up for a terrible fall from grace in the press , so I believe the decision was taken to axe her and likely put her on ice for another year when no mention of being bullied would occur.
Christian Didn't rate him that much but in any case his popularity would likely clash with Matt/ Freddy and the Brookes which is just too much of a vote split,
Niall I wasn't overly struck on him either but too dangerous to put him in because of the Irish vote and therefore the risk he posed to TCO
Kayleigh Beautiful voice but not current or commercially viable by any stretch of the imagination much more of a BGT act.

As i said just my thoughts!

I'm not gonna be too harsh on these 12 yet as they might have something up their sleeves.

I can only hope as The Voice has slaughtered it so far in both USA and the UK seasons for itself in terms of quality imo.

I didnt watch it last year and 2 years ago I stopped watchkng during the live shows but I have to say this year is the worst I've ever seen. The final 28 was actually good but the final 12 is SHOCKING. Nicoles choices were horrific i can only summise that she is tone deaf or she doesnt actually get to choose and the eventual final 3 were friends of the producer's sons.

That's the last episode im watching.

I have really gone off Nicole this time. When she was a judge when James Arthur was there she came across as caring and the public loved her. This time I just can't put my finger on it yet but she seems as if she couldn't care less. Remember her attitude to Will Rush song at bootcamp I didn't ask him to write to bloody song about vowels. She was totally disgusted. Would have preferred Mel B in her place. Her acts know where they stand with her.

I think if people keep trying to get rid of Honey G or Louis pathetic act they will encourage the fans to keep them in the show longer.

Again I can't see anyone who stands out in this final 12. Every other series there are always two that stand out and could go on and win the whole show.

Tbh there were no stand out acts last year which is why Louisa won so easily.

I actually don't mind it that much now.

It's only the boys category I don't like. But I'll begrudgingly accept them doing well because the public always lap them up despite 90% of the time being generic wet wipes with the performance levels of a stray cat.

Yep can't disagree, shocking final 12, they sent all the best singers packing at judges houses for some reason!

I'd rather see Honey G and Bratavio's over the top performances that Friedman has put together over whatever Ryan Lawrie is doing at least, and he's just the first name to come to mind.

I can see the viewing figures being pretty bad with that line up, lower than last year

We are all supposed to love Matt Terry and 5am. The rest are just fodder to be disposed of when necessary.

This seems to be a recurring element on the X Factor now. Just 2 acts we are scripted to like.A promo vehicle for Syco.

I get what you're saying, but I do feel sorry for Ryan as his being given false hope, I always pity acts like that.

I don't like a single act in the final 12 and still debating whether to bother tomorrow or not.

For me, I thought Peyton was so good that I'm still stunned that he didn't get through. He's the strongest I've felt about an act since Daniel Pearce who also didn't get through but has ended up singing lead vocals on 2 no 1 singles and backing vocals on another so did ok out of the exposure.

I've read that Peyton is releasing I'll Rise as a single and so hope this has opened eve more doors for him

I'm going against the grain as I am looking forward to the final as there are 2 acts I really like, and two that I don't mind.
