I really admire how Janet handled her self after the X Factor. She very unfairly didn't get signed despite winning the public vote by far none, got on Pledge Music and released a professionally delivered album full of hits and an original sound. She went from that and has done a few decent EP's and today releases Outernet song.

I just listened and i liked it a lot!
