Giving your child the initial S when the surname is Lavery! S LAVERY is just ridiculous.

Am I the only one who didn't even notice that it spelt 'slavery'?! Seems a very pedantic thing to criticise surely!! Does anyone actually care?!
I've recently had to deal with someone called Lucy Fear - didn't realise til somone said it out loud it sounds like Lucifer
I doubt it occurred to them, it certainly hadn't to me. Samantha is from my part of the country, and I've just checked the local phone book, where S and A (three each) are the most popular first initials for Laverys after J (six).
It's the clearly premeditated names that make me wonder, like that of a childhood friend, April Schauer.
