Well I’m paying for the Granddaughters’ ID Mobile sim that has 5,000 texts per month and a couple of months ago she hit around 4,500 and having me to ring her to tell her to cool it a bit until the rollover day that had another week to go.
It's great you are helping your granddaughter, but wow monitoring her bills like this is a bit much. Give her some privacy and train her in becoming more responsible, put limits on the account so she can't go over or alert texts to be sent. Tell her to download Wattsapp so she doesn't send so many texts but monitoring her every moves with her phone is nothing but strange and very odd behaviour.

I’m just checking she is not running up a bill at my expense and I do not monitor who she calls or who calls her. All I see is her usage meter.

Don’t you worry your little head about how others bring up their children and as soon as she leaves school you can bet your lucky stars she will be paying her own bills and I do not tell her what apps she can and connot use though I do believe she already has WhatsApp because she shows up in my contacts.:

Anyone know if tethering or using the hotspot app is allowed? cant see anything about it
Hi Alan. If you look in 1pMobile's help section, there are quite a few questions and answers. One of the questions is: Can I use my phone to connect a tablet or laptop to the internet?

The answer they give is: Yes, a 1pMobile SIM will allow you to share your phone’s 3G/4G data connection. However, you will need to check with your handset manufacturer to confirm that your phone supports tethering. You will be charged 1p per each MB of data used whilst tethering.

Hope this helps!
