Her giggling after every line is annoying but I put it down to a nervous giggle.

Because that segment is only aimed at showing us pretty (crap mostly) dresses and anyone from Zoe to Ian to Karen to the lady who cleans the bogs could pull it off .”

What dressmaking terminolgy do you want her to use?
Are you Waiting for Godet?

Yes me! I thought I was the only one. Everyone else seems to love her. That bl**dy laugh gets on my pip.

Awww I like her. She seems so lovely but is obviously not comfortable in front of the camera, hence the incessants giggles as defense mechanism lol. I can see why it can irritate some people. Tbh I find it a little annoying sometimes as well

The whole program is light fluff and doesn't pretend to be anything else, so the dress making bit is too. I think she's lovely.

There was an article in one of the papers about her last year - probably a North East of England one. Nice story about how she used to go down to the market every week with her mother, buy some material and then they would go home and make a dress out of it.

There is this one but not the article I am thinking of

The trouble is she has little to say other than tell us the number of sequins, glass beads and how much shorter the fringe may be by Saturday! It is a bit tedious and as others have said Zoe whistles through it at top speed and fawns embarrassingly over Vicky's creations that imo it is has become a slot in the programme which could either be revamped or left out completely.

I used to like the shots of the dressmakers working in their workroom giving us a few inside tips, they could perhaps combine this with having a couple of the outfits on show instead.

I think she seems a lovely person, I like seeing a couple of the dresses and I think it gives a hint of just how busy and last minute her job is. I would guess she's incredibly limited in what she can say, because she can't ever suggest that anyone is awkward or suggest anyone has any body features that they find more difficult than others. It's a very small segment.

Just don't like the feature at all cos I am not interested. But it does give me a couple of mins to put the kettle on or go to the loo

Yep. I mute her too. She adds nothing to the show, is useless in front of a camera and is guilty of producing truly hideous costumes that do no favours at all for some of the women. The incessant giggling is ridiculous. She's a grown woman!

She's not supposed to be in front of a camera and really does not have the personality to do it anyway.

Why the producers though it was a good idea is beyond me.

I often fast forward her because I record SCD in order to avoid the boring bits.

All of the above. I can sew, so I'd far rather see the workrooms and inside tips, and bin the Giggle segment!

The BBC try to make ITT an "action packed show." (Yeah!) A lot of what is included is quite annoying, It starts with that over excitable tall blonde bird at the beginning. So I just record it and watch the training bits. I really don't care what the Friday panel thinks.
To me their opinions seem pointless.

Everything seems rushed.
Sort of "We really haven't got time to show you this."
Well, if you haven't, don't bother!

I don't find her infuriating or anything, I just find the whole "frock" section a big load of filler.

Sadly, my sentiments exactly. I rarely watch which is a shame as it has the potential to be such a good show, they just shoe horn in too much rubbish.

I do love when people say they have to mute the TV whenever someone they don't like comes on. I just have visions of them sitting in total silence and shaking in anger until they can put the sound back on

You've a vivid imagination.

In reality, for most it's far from that.

Every year I hope that as the couples reduce and the number of interviews needed per show goes down that the length and number of the interesting bits will go up.

You think I'd know by now that all that happens is that we get Lisa Riley and a soopafan quiz

Some comments here, feel right out of the 1960's or a Trump video.

Probably a nervous giggle, she's a dressmaker, not a presenter and the segment is very quick.

Anyway she's explained godet ages ago . Not really necessary though in my opinion . Most people will just say panels , and while that's not strictly accurate it does the job as far as non fashionistas/dressmakers are concerned .
