Could anyone else see Sally Dynevor ( Sally Webster) playing a really interesting detective in her own show? Obviously not as over the top a character as Sally Webster but I could really imagine this actress playing this sort of leading detective role in an ITV drama series. I think she would have a comedic side to her but would be surprisingly really good at her job. Totally random, I just think it would be so interesting with her in that kind of role..

I think the actress could do it. Would be an interesting detective with an 'every man' personality, like David Jason did with Frost.
