To be honest, it is fairly clear from your flippant replies that you don't wish to learn or understand that the term you used is not considered appropriate any more.

Some have stood up for you and said it isn't always possible to keep up with the 'PC brigade' but it is quite clear you don't even regret the term you used.

Well, that's just a picture you've downloaded in the last few minutes that could have come from anywhere.

It wasn't there a couple of hours ago, because I clicked to see if you had given your age (you haven't, but it might have been a clue as to why you used the term you did)

I looked at collaw's profile when he posted just before 6.00pm - I was lurking, which tends to be my default mode. The picture was there at that time - I assure you.

But I don't think there is enough interest from that direction, so what we see on shows like Strictly is in proportion to the talent which is available. I am 'coloured' and there is no-one else of colour in my field of work. I do it because I love it. If others aren't interested, it's for them to explain why.

Apparently someone who reckons he's married to a 'coloured' person.

Although that thought (defence) only seems to have entered his head in the last half hour or so.

If they are South African she probably wouldn't be offended as it's a not a derogatory expression in South Africa
