Is anyone else really liking the character of Tommy Orpington on CS?

The story is a bit meh, but it's great to see Matt Milburn on our screens again. I think they should make him a regular and tone down the obsessive friendship SL.

He is okay, but why he would hang out with the two morons Steve and Tim is beyond me, unless of course he completely pities them.

Steve was acting like a silly teenage girl, drooling over the footballer. I suppose he was only following the script he was given, but it was...yuk.

As was Tim. I found the whole thing cringeworthy

Yes, me too. Why would anyone hyperventilate over a non league footballer is beyond me. I wouldn't even act like that over an A-List Hollywood actor let alone some one who most people in the town probably don't even know.

As a friend of mine says 'They still have to sh*t like the rest of us'

Hes lovely wish he could stay and we get rid of a majority of the rest of wimpy men in the cast.

He probably wants to get in Michelles pants. Steve would feel honoured and say to her 'please baby......for meee'

Michelle has an awful disposition. Her permanent scowl and acid tongue is not very sexy. If I were Tommy I'd rather take Typhoid Mary out for a night.

It was a disappointingly awful attempt to force humour with the Steve/Tim pairing, as has been most of their stuff together!!
They should let them gain a natural rapport with each other, as with Steve/Lloyd rather than trying to force 'humourous' situations on them!!
This pairing should work together & I believe could work together if the writing didn't desperately try & force it all the time!!

I don't mind Tommy but I really REALLY can't get my head about this stupid plot. It's pathetic.

Are footballers really called Tommy Orpington these days? Sounds like something from the 1940s. Aren't they usually called Wayne or Ryan or suchlike?

Footballers are usually thick aren't they? I'm sure Phelan could convince him to buy a fake flat or four.
