Why no Real Bands

I have always wondered why there are never any what I call real bands on XF I mean a group of people who play instruments ie guitars and drums. You have the occasional piano or guitar so why not a band. When you see the rubbish that are appearing this year maybe it would be a good idea.

As good as Real Bands would be, they would have to mime instruments on a live show as it would take to long to set up all the equipment so none would be plugged in.

For example at Gigs after each band there is at least 15/20mins gap to enable equipment to be set up\ taken away.

So it's easier having Bands to a backing track and singing.

Because the Xfactor is not about music. Cowell tries to belittle people who bring guitars onto the show(god knows why) but some of the greatest songs ever written were songs written with just a guitar.
