I wonder how Max and Cora's returns will impact Lauren & Abi and Dot of course.

Ann Mitchell is back on Twitter which indicates to me that is she is back filming again as Cora.

Lauren & Abi have been pretty quiet of late so the return of their Father & Grandmother is welcome to me.

Has it actually been confirmed that Cora will make a return or is it just wishful thinking on your part, has she been spotted with a file under her arm at Elstree for instance?

I think reactivating her twitter after a year is significant. Her return and Jake Woods will have social media interest- there maybe a Q & A online etc when both Actors return - of course I am a big Cora Fan so I hope this happens. I am crossing my fingers.

Jacqueline jossa confirmed in the papers today we will find out what happened to Peter Beale soon.

I suspect Lauren will become high profile again once max returns , Cora don't see where she features unless max has been staying with her

It is not after a year. She deactivated in Feb cos she was rehearsing for her play and didn't have time for twitter.

Do they normally do q&a's on eastenders? I know they do them a lot onED

No idea about Cora! Max will Proably return at Xmas i look forward to seeing how it impacts Lauren and Abi. Lauren looks like she will become big again.

I want Cora to find out how Babe has been treating Abi. I don't want her to be homeless again - that needs to be wrapped up now.

YES TO THIS! Such a good idea!

Speaking of Twatter I notice Alex Lamb has now removed the 'works on EastEnders' bit. Unless he is just doing a profile update.

Abi has been surprisingly good this year in the absence of her wider family. But Lauren needs the Brannings back. Her character has been terribly wasted ever since she returned. They need to take her away from the terminally dull Steven.

With the Cokers leaving soon and Babe going as well, there's going to be a distinct lack of over 65 characters on EE. Cora returning will be a good way to rebuild that aspect on the Square.

They need to take Steven away from the terminally dull Lauren, more like.

with the right material Cora can be great, Ann Mitchell is a touch of stardust for EE but she needs to feature more.

Steven and Lauren need to break up and we need to see the long awaited Steven and Johnny romance happen- they have chemistry.

Cora was a dreadful character
Cant wait to have Max back though.

I thought last night was Lauren's best episode since she returned she always works better away from relationship status.

Her return so far is lot of Steven sitting down , Lauren carrying a child looking into space.

She was much better away from that nonsense last night

Lauren is weakest young female in the cast. Abi is now the better character. Jac's acting is so bad now too. Half the time she is just rolling her eyes in the background of a scene. I certainly wouldn't miss her if she left. I think its now time for Whitney to shine and become the leading lady of her age group.

I hope Max dies instantly upon his return. Vile character.

Cora is probably dead in a gutter somewhere.

Oscar Wilde said we are all in the Gutter but some of us are looking up at the stars

I think the Lauren we are seeing is changed, why is she allowing Steven to rip off Ian like he is? My god she wouldn't even let her dad get away with an affair and has always been a bit gobby and opinionated when she thinks something is wrong.

I think giving Lauren a child had also limited the character

I don't get the logic that someone reactive ting their Twitter account means they are on their way back to EastEnders.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cora does turn up at some point, with the losses of Pam, Claudette and Babe there won't be as many gangster granny's knocking about.

I have to say with the current improvement on the quality of the writing, I'm more optimistic about a return for Cora than I was before. My issue was always with the characterisation and lack of development and not Anne's acting skills.

It was confirmed by EastEnders to Digital Spy she would return late 2016 but with the new EP who knows maybe he doesn't want her back , he seems determined to stamp his mark on the show despite what anyone might think.

They are the least interesting family in the show at the moment and have been a spent force for half a decade now. It comes to something when I say that I much prefer watching the Carters over the Brannings.

They are not really operating as a family unit at the moment. Lauren's shoved with the Beales, Jacks shoved with the Mitchell's, Dot mixes with anyone and Abis just in the background.
