No smoke without fire. Shame as I try and afford it more credibility than x factor, but in truth it's probably no less staged. You do always wonder why people instantly turn on each other in the boardroom when they all have to go back and live together. I presume that part is true at least.

Ah, Selina - I wonder if she has been on the DM sidebar of shame? (Yes)
Ah, Selina - did she turn up for YF? (No)
Ah,. Selina - could this be the "serious business woman" just last march? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...isplay-LA.html (Yes)

The idea that the business plans are sifted must be nonsense - Sugar would probably not get involved in this year's suggestions of hairdressing and sausage-making, so why include them if it is rigged?

I was at the launch of Claude's new book in London last night. He is a very interesting guy and his book will tell you his view of how it all happens. There is plenty of preparation, but that is make sure the tasks are tough, but can work out properly. It wasn't Karren's fault the women left the jeans behind, was it?

Sws is just an attention-seeking wannabe with a high opinion of herself. Her behaviour on screen last year has probably damaged her business, but I expect that is someone else's fault to. Victim like to read the Daily Mail.

This made fascinating reading and i believe every word of it

I wish people would give this girl a break, there is far too much passion and righteous indignation in her words for it to be anything other than the truth, we should commend her for her guts in exposing this, probably breaking all kind of confidentiality agreements she signed. I admire her for this, hugely.

You don't actually have a shred of evidence to support your view, so it must be true ....

You know, after that brief footage on YF when they were exploring the house and it showed the tins of crap food in the cupboard, she might well have a point.

She was right about that, after all.

I am VERY interested in Alana's exit interview. I have a hunch she will have a LOT to say.

I believe the sleep deprivation is deliberate. So is the isolation, denying them the internet, and various other things. They are set up to fail. Even referring to them as "boys" and "girls" is a diminutive meant to undermine them. Also, yes, they all get a lot more interviewed than we see, and they are encouraged to say outrageous things during those interviews (won't be allowed to leave until they do).
Next week being a case in point: the buying task -- but at night so the teams will be tired during the task, and sleep-deprived the next day (and on the following task).

Considering there have now been well over 150 candidates passing through the apprentice sausage machine it seems odd there have been so few making claims such as these. Sitting for 3 hours in a windowless room not allowed to speak?? Was this some Stanford type experiment where all these business tigers had become cowed before the authoritarian whip of a bbc assistant producer?

I suppose an element of fakery is inevitable given the nature of the show but if candidates are mistreated that sounds wrong and should be stopped.
I always thought she had eyes like chips of ice. And her comments on the 'deprivation', well, they are free to leave the process whenever they like. She makes it sound like a prison camp!

(Hope she has a warm gillet for winter.)
