Series creator and producer Ben96 can officially confirm that the five part (yes, five) series will begin to be published here on DS from 8 November.

Ben96 said at the press release "I'd like to apologise for the wait for this series, due to logistical problems we had to push the date back to November, but I promise this is the official, confirmed and final date to put in your diary - 6th November.

Below is a handy guide on everything we know about the series so far.

WHAT IS IT?
The series was commissioned back in August following the annual 'DS Soap Forum Awarrds' ceremony, when veteran poster KornerKabin announced that her drunken tyrst in the disabled toilets that night had left her pregnant. The five part series will explore the events leading up to that night, plus many more secrets and whereabouts of various other posters will be revealed. Mrs Fanshaw has been confirmed as a guest star in the series, and will play a major role.

WHERE IS IT SET?
The series will be set in the fictional village of DS. The village has a local Public House, various businesses and a community hall, where the ceremony took place.

A lot of the material is being kept under wraps understandly until publication, however it was teased on the theories thread that there would be a dramatic confrontation with CollieWobbles & KornerKabin in Laurel Thomas/ Sally Spode style on a balcony, but how does Collie link to the events?

At the press event in September Executive Producer Ben said "This series is very different to the kind of material I normally write. It's a satirical drama meaning that first we want people to engage in the 'madness', get lost the story, be entertained and laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. But, then we want people to actually stop and think that this is actually happening, and what more can we do to help? What starts off as a simple story, spirals into something dark and twisted, where lies, deceit and blackmail take hold" He continued "It's going to be very clear from the outset how sinister and dark things could get, but it's how the characters deal with the situations that they are thrown into that will be interesting to see"
