I agree, i think they make a lovely fun couple. The others celebs seem to love her too.

I think this may have been Claudia's peak--it was a perfect dance for her skills and they were lucky with their film/music. Otherwise, I don't think they are well-matched (totally different physiques and personalities) and they don't seem to be dancing together--no chemistry.

Claudia has a big disadvantage to the rest of the ladies, she is only tiny, 4ft6in and she is only 18 years old. It must be very difficult for her to get that chemistry with her partner. Anyway I don't go along with this chemistry stuff, some people will always just click but that doesn't make them the best dancer, take Abbie Clancy for instance.

Sure, but it's more enjoyable to watch a couple dancing together when they do click. And dancing with your partner is arguably a component of being a good dancer.

Well she wasn't dancing with Brendon

I think she dances very well with AJ and i think they have a good connection.

I thought Claudia and AJ's dance was the best of the night, and should have closed the show.

Yes, it definitely was the WOW Dance and would have been the perfect end to the show. I have previously been a fan of Louise but to finish the show with that dance was wrong. Such a pity.

Claudia's Charleston was very good and very energetic. For me, didn't match up to the Sophie EB though sadly.

Louise's cha cha lacked energy and the dance didn't suit her as much as the VW did last week. I feel she has more to give.

Even Ed and Katya's dance would have provided a more animated end to the show, with its "Where the heck did that performance level come from" moment.

no love for C & AJ Charleston. They may as well have been dancing on their own most of the time. Oh, they were.

Not bothered about the journey - just want to see good dancing!

Totally agree. I am delighted she is having fun - but do I want to watch her? No.

A Charleston is a big crowd pleaser. Gymnasts are used to learning routines - choreography is choreography and she is accustomed to that. I expect that of her.

Will she make a great dancer? Nope - but people will love her because she is young and little and bouncy and she'll do well.

I'd rather watch someone else to be honest.

Ah, Sophie was fabulous in that one dance. Possibly the only one I have ever liked! Elegant, whimsical and beautiful.

I find a 'cheeky' Charleston really irritating. I don't even enjoy dancing it.

My granny would be furious. She was a champion Charleston dancer

That's how you are meant to dance the Charleston.

Sophie threw a few gymnastics into her Charleston too.

Given the praise on both these couples by all the judges I was expecting to see some 10s. Both were brilliant.

Same I prefer the elegant versions rather than the hoofing kind.

And good on your granny, that is something special.

Very late into the SCD party, watched it through last night. Who caught my eye straight off, Danny and Claudia, just loved the two of them.

They were both superb, I agree.

Claudia is terrific but I can't see her making it all the way. Mainly because of her youth, she just doesn't have the grace and elegance that I look for in a dancer and that are of huge importance. It's that extra something that propels them beyond technically good into the top slot. Most winners - with the obvious exception of Abbey Clancey who I thought was pants - have had this extra thing. Chelsy Healey was excellent, also Georgia but they didn't have the elegance

Not for me. Sophie and Brendan had a cool elegance whereas this was just high energy. Enjoyable certainly but don't particularly want to watch it again.

Because it makes it so predictable. Jay won. Do we really need Danny to too? It's not about the dancing anymore. It's about who is 'hot' or 'cute' or 'adorable'.
