He was brilliant . Gene Kelly would have been proud . Wonderful choreography also from Jo , lovely to see her get some praise .

I have to disagree, although I thought Ore's interpretation of all the classic moves from that dance were excellent and Joanne's choreography was sublime, however Claudia's Charleston just pipped them to the post for my top dance.

He was the biggest surprise of the night for me.

Jo's back in Len's good books.

Ore Ore Ore! He brought such panache to that dance, such confidence, and it must be hard to put your own stamp on such a classic - he made it look easy.

Didn't like his first two dances but his back in the game tonight. Could have an advantage over the likes of Danny because he hasn't danced before.

If it was for marking routines and choreography I would put it at the top, but for dancing I would put him rightfully third or fourth. He was on his toes too much in hold, and a few dodgy head movements for me. However, he managed portray that charm that does evoke Gene Kelly so it made it work as a whole.

It was good, but not as good as the two at the top.

Bee-ooo-tiful routine from Jo. Utterly gorgeous. I thought Ore did brilliantly to carry it off as well as he did.

For the final stages, if he's still there, Ore would be my clear favourite male contestant. Loved this routine so much. Shades of Patrick and Anya (tho P&A were better IMO...)

He and his dance with lovely and made me feel happy to watch. I hope he stays for a good while.

I thought he should have been joint top with Danny. I actually wasn't as impressed as everyone else seems to be with Claudia's Charleston.

He was good but Claudia and Danny were better for me tonight. Jo's choreo was sublime. Such a classy routine but, as Darcy would say, if I was being really picky I didn't like Ore's head bobbing in hold. Fine in a Charleston but not my cup of tea in an AS. His performance was still very high quality though.

He was fabulous but Claudia had the slight edge.

I'd have been fine with them drawing at the top. They both outshone Danny who should have been 3rd.

I think he is around about where he should be on the leader board.

It was Jo's best choreography so far and a great performance from Ore, and I'm very pleased for them. Ore's performance level is good and his dancing will keep improving, so if they keep tonight's balance between performance, technique and choreography, they will be around for a long time.

I think he was in about the right position. He danced on his toes throughout but did ok with what he was given. Not as good as the top two though.

I agree, Patrick was woefully underated by the public. But I see what you mean. At this stage I have usually started to zone in on a favourtite based on who I would most like to dance with. Its a balance of ability and personality. In Patrick's season it was him, hands down. And at present my antenea is pulling me in Ore's direction.

I thought that Claudia & AJ and Danny & Oti were better than Ore. However Ore was good and it was his best dance so far imo.

What happens if you want to dance with a woman?

I liked it a lot, except he and 'judge' Rinder both suffer from gurning.

Patrick is my favourite contestant in all the years I've watched. He's kind of the opposite of a lot of SCD celebs. He wasn't flashy as a character. But as a dancer and as someone who completely loved the music he was compellingly good. Helped by Anya who gave us some of the best routines I can remember, one after the other, like BAMM!

Ore -- him being so moved tonight and the feel of the dance... My antenna is being tweaked too

Ah OK different rules apply. With the female contestants I just appreciate them. Although I have danced with women and most women I have danced with are brilliant leads.
