A report in the Herald Sun today indicates that Olympia Valance is not yet ready to quit her role as Paige Smith in the top Aussie Soap.

Valance is hoping to extend her contract until November 2017 which would keep her on screen until February 2018.

Has her 3 year contract ended?

It ends in March but she hopes to extend it.

So she's hoping to extend her contract for another year? They will, as I can't see them getting rid of Paige if Olympia wants to stay.

I think given her personal circumstances, like buying a house, it seemed logical that she would choose to stay for a bit longer.

Hopefully it means they have a nice, long story plan for Jack & Paige.

I think Olympia is a good Actress and i like Paige.

That's a shame. Not a fan of Paige, to be honest.

Shame that Scott McGregor signed for another couple of years. Brennan has just become a boring, angry character. Shame we have to suffer him for 2 more years.

Olympia is a good actress but Paige is an irritating character. But it is good to see that Olympia values the show.

I like Neighbours having longterm characters but I cannot stand Paige. The thought of her on screen for another 2 years sounds unbearable.

I believe we will have Brennan for another 20 years atleast. He will be like Karl, Susan and Toadie.

I actually think it's good news, don't really have any opinion either way about her character but she is becoming quite a big name, so it can only be good for Neighbours if she stays a while.

It annoys me when a lot of people just leave after 3 years, when you are getting used to them. Glad about Mark as well, still the hottest man in Neighbours imo.
