I believe Pauline and Linda have been friends since childhood. Now you mention it I am surprised Linda Robson hasn't done Strictly yet. She seems to be quite the type they cast to fulfil a certain archtype.

I remember Linda danced on Children in Need and she was very good.

It was a long, long time ago as she was pregnant at the time and she is now a proud grandmother.

Pauline Quirke was always a superfan and appeared on ITT quite a few times in the past. I've seen something with them on TV before and Linda Robson called Lesley witchiepoo and it was done with good humour. LJ didn't mind at all. It does seem like they are all good friends and quite close. That's lovely to see after all these years.

They have. The footage at the end of Birds of a Feather of two young girls running around (filmed in black and white) is actually of Linda and Pauline

I can't remember where but I'd heard Linda was asked ( I think last year) but she turned it down because she feared she would be the joke act because she didn't think she would be very good
