There maybe an autocue, but when questioning someone, they are then on unscripted territory. OK they may get some prompting vie earphone by a producer, but the skill in that instance is to listen to your answers and the prompting of the producer. - Nightmare.
What name??

It wasn't just the timing. She had little tension in her body so it's more difficult to lead her and hide her issues.

I doubt she's going to get less nervous. I think she's nervous because she's finding the dancing hard and knows she's not good. I feel for her.

I would mention that there is nothing wrong with my eyes.

I am surprised that nobody commented on this.”

To be honest the only thing wrong with the lights was that they weren't switched off! I'm no fan of Tameka but she was streets ahead of Naga. Admittedly I did feel sorry for her about the harness thing but she's still pretty bad.

Naga, Tameka and someone else (was it Louise and Kevin!?) were wearing all black for some silly reason.

Naga looks very ill at ease on this show and doesn't IMHO look as though she is enjoying it one little bit whether through nerves or the fact it JUST isn't her. One wonders why she signed up for the programme.

Well Naga may come across as aloof on the show, but I do love this feisty twitter put down in support of Tameka yesterday.]

Just spent some time looking at her twiiter feed. Despite what people say it seems she is really pleased to be a part of the Strictly experience and to have the Pash as her mentor.

Yes she does. Initially I thought she wanted out but it seems not. She hasn't produced a great dance but I do think she may improve if she really goes for it and isn't held back by nerves.

Maybe it was done purposely , so we couldn't really see how awful she was dancing 🙈🙈

But that's just word, doesn't reflect in her dancing.

For cryin' out loud, she's hardly gonna say anything else, is she?

The lighting suited the theme . Someone nicking a diamond, at night , dressed aptly (apart from the 5" heels obv).
Her routine this week should be interesting . Naga doing a charleston in her "resting biatch" face . I bet they drag her off to a fun fair or a circus to record her having fun fun fun .

I think she'll be okay in the Charleston and will possibly embrace it and like being a bit goofy more than she's liked being .. well ... Naga ... doing some ballroom! Looking at how well she did on the launch show ... she can cut loose and enjoy herself and this might be the dance to do it. I'm not sure she can afford another dispassionate dance ... it's time to step up.
This is a very tough series for the learner dancer ... so many of the others have started with a bang. Not so long ago we had a series with Dave Myers, Mark Benton, Deborah Meaden, Julien McDonald, Tony Jacklin, Vanessa Feltz and loads of others who were complete beginners. Probably Natalie was the only ringer that year. Naga would have looked pretty decent in that line up.

I know! It's almost as if different people are different and react differently to doing different things. What's that about??

She is learning to dance, from scratch, without having a particular aptitude for it.

It's what Strictly used to be about, in olden golden days of yore.

I remember the days of the two man final, both sportsmen, 5(?) dances apiece, when ringahs were few and far between, and weren't even called ringahs - Jill Halfpenny and the Bunton spring to mind. I could even get nostalgic about the Dawson bum wiggle.

Excuse me while I wipe a tear and polish my rose tinted spectacles...
