How long until Steven Beale gets his comeuppance?

I just want to slit the guy's throat lately, the way he's been treating Jane, the money he's been stealing. Vile hideous man.

I would actually like to see more on why, is he doing it for revenge, really in debt or is he helping Peter out, he attitude towards what Jane did to Lucy has been rather relaxed.

A lot people would say Jane is getting what she deserved considering what she done.

I guess it's fine to display latent psychopathic tendencies on the internet these days!

comeuppance??? Hes hardly done anything except embezzle a bit of money?? His return has been such a damp squib, When you think how epic his first stint was, stalking and shooting Jane, kidnapping Lucy, trying to kill Pat, the stuff with Christian, He has hardly done anything since he came back he has no chemistry with Lauren either.

It's a bit worrying, especially when it's about someone fictional

With all the speculation of Aaron/Steven leaving (or it just being a short stint), I'm glad that there's been discussion about the New Year (*cough* hopefully Johven *cough*). I think Steven will probably be sticking around for a while now (Aaron is a father to young children, and EastEnders is good for actors in that it provides a constant source of income. The fact that they've toned Steven down from the insanity of his previous stint means that there's a chance he'll be back for the long haul)

He's not doing anything Ian hasn't done in the past, and as for Jane her crimes outdo his by a long, long way. He just needs to dump Lauren now. She makes me sick waiting hand and foot on the woman who ruined her dad's life.

Not till next year by the sounds of things. Looks like he is sticking around a while

I hope he isn't going back to the dark side because they would be so damn stupid not to run with Johnny and Steven given the off the scale sexual chemistry Ted and Aaron have together.

The original Radio Times article also mentioned how SOC is taking the show back to its roots and isn't relying on sensational plots, but actual human emotion. Fantastic news.

Brilliant! EastEnders has been a different show these past 3 weeks. It feels like we are back in the 80s and 90s again. Proper old school Enders.

Me too. I think they would have people who do research for that sort of thing.

I thought there must be more to the article. Might have a look in the radio times for the full interview

It really is. SOC knows EastEnders far better than DTC ever did.
