i used to like him in his grenade days but he seems really oily and greasy to me now and it is hard for me to actually look at him for some reason.

I'm getting obsessed with this tune at the moment, it's brilliant.

His vocal is incredibly annoying on this...just an awful song.

If someone made a mash up consisting of the above songs, it would sound a bit like 24K Magic. I'm still unsure if I like this or not. It didn't click on first listen but I was compelled to keep listening.

It just doesn't go anywhere for me. And he's blatantly trying to recreate Uptown Funk with the video and sound, not exactly great progression.

I've always liked Bruno Mars, he's clearly a great singer songwriter, very talented & seems a nice guy to boot.

This song is forgettable though. As has been mentioned elsewhere, it's very evocative of Kool & the Gang's Get Down On It, & the BLING BLING vid is a bit grim.

I hoe his next single is better

The video is the worst thing about it. It's all "flash my cash" & for me, this isn't what has made Bruno Mars appealing. He's obviously been rich & successful for a while, but he was still relatable. This is all "look at my bling" & seems arrogant.

Damn awful video, full of half naked women flashing their asses and the song is completely tuneless! Honestly, where is the melody?! I like Uptown Funk and a few of his other songs but I think this new one is complete tripe!

Haven't seen the video but the song sounds like an Uptown Funk knock-off to me. I mean, I get it. It was a huge it. But Bruno Mars isn't a one hit wonder so he really doesn't need to try to go with a carbon copy.

Agreed. Awful. Just heard it on the radio and it hurts my ears and I liked Uptown Funk.
In the week Rod Temperton died he needs to go back and look at what makes a really good funk song, rather than just chucking a load of stuff into a blender and releasing it.
The video is appalling too. I hope it's meant to be ironic because if they meant it it's so cliched!

Anyway, he should move on from this naff funk sound. I think he should be doing music similar to The Weeknd. A song like "Starboy" would be amazing for Bruno.

This, for me at least, has got to be the worst song of 2016 - it's just awful and unimaginative.

There is no groove to it, and it feels pretentious. Also sounds like a copy of some very similar hits either by himself or other artists.
