Cowell's obsession with ramming Fleur down our throats at every possible opportunity, even years after she appeared is highly mockable. He never disappoints. It's not a Fleur Slur. 
I'm only surprised he hasn't made her a judge and changed the theme tune to Sax yet. All in good time.

it's always same opinions though..., heard it all before just because he pushes her and sees her potential it's a bad thing ? How ? it's about time syco had a credible act besides little mix - fleur has come on leaps and bounds since the show her vocals alone are amazing and she can totally perform - yeah she does need better material apart from sax and a couple on album but everything else she has

It's mainly people who prefered Andrea (as I did) and Ben who see her promotion as 'a bad thing' because, by rights they were the public's choice. And while I understand Andrea finished behind Fleur, he almost certainly would have finished 2nd or even won if there hadn't been a take down operation after it was decided they didn't want him as a winner in the second week, but that's subjective. Regardless, they were given albums, but half-hearted production and promotion resulted in products that in my opinion weren't as good as they deserved. Then Ben was rather publically dropped back in January, just three months after his big debut (hardly giving him a fair chance is it?') and Andrea seemed to rather sadly quietly drop off the label without being given any gigs or tour dates, any of which I would have gone to. And the sad thing is that they were great and all they needed was investment and promotion. But they didn't get it and now all us remaining Andrea and Ben fans see is Fleur being endlessly promoted by Cowell and this Sax song constantly being played on anything Simon Cowell related which as a saxophone player myself I can hear has no sax on the record. It's irritating, but it's Cowell that's irritating to me, not Fleur.

Yes he was, he was on a half and half deal. But you're absolutely right I do blame the label (Cowell). But this whole Simon picks his chosen one thing is what's killing the show and he doesn't even seem to realise it. The audience want to ring in and decide who gets future financial backing to become a success. That's the show's premise in a nutshell. It's turned into we vote in a winner who gets a shot at xmas number 1 with a cheesy cover (not even likely these days) and then bugger all happens to them after that. Then whoever Cowell wanted to win gets the real prize, It's why people have had it with this show.

It's not like Fleur came 4th or 5th she was runner up - cowell signed her because he liked her and her talent - he obviously could see Ben wasn't going to be a pop singer as his voice didn't cross over well he was more rock and Andrea just didn't have the image for syco - rca are just as crap a label! But voters who make the winner are fickle because they always move on - Ben had Kelley clarkson as a bloody collab Fleur went out on her own and still did well - Kelly is a big star!! I mean what more could Ben want l, he was lucky that she agreed to that
Ben should'be still had label backing - he charted higher than reggie and bollie new girl - maybe Ben didn't wanna be on label also - wel never know

The song was catchy the first 50 million times that I heard it.
The problem is for myself (and alot of other people) is that it's always being plugged on a show, advert, or by Simon himself, there's no escape and those kinds of songs always receive a backlash.

It's really not. Just because people are cheesed off with SC ramming Sax down our throats, doesn't mean that person was a fan of bloody Ben or anyone else. I certainly wasn't.

Ditto. No interest in Ben, Andrea or any other karaoke show contestant the minute the closing credits roll. It's the way Cowell decides that he's going to force his chosen one to happen and the over pimping that pees me off. The plugging Fleur has had, she should be the biggest star ever but it hasn't happened despite the protestations of her biggest cheerleaders.
Personally, I'm not a fan of cheesy chart music so the likelihood of any xf alumni appealing to me is remote anyway.
But it's a shame that obvious banter and humour is pounced on in an attempt to shut others down like any of this really matters

But while we are on it, I still think Fleur has a weak vocal and was pimped to get to the final, Hello Promo bus!!
Look guys - what's clear is that Fleur was pushed much more than Ben was. I'm not actually a fan of either as such although I didnt mind them on the show. They were clearly hoping Fleur would win, and when she didn't - she got a much better lead single (definitely milking the success of Uptown Funk, which Bruno Mars is attempting to do again now as well ) and Sax was everywhere. I'm surprised it only got to #3 considering how much it was shoved down our throats. You couldn't turn the tv on without it being on an advert or something.
I like Fleur and think she's a decent performer and can deliver good vocals but let's not get carried away. She's not an incredible singer and without the huge push from Syco in terms of funding and promoting, she's not done that well. I don't get all these fan wars, you can like an act but no need to be delusional. Would Sax have got to #3 if not for the massive push? I sincerely doubt it, as her other singles didn't do as well and they weren't as promoted.

It has zilch to do with Fleur herself - I get it, you are fans, she can do no wrong etc etc. What most people are getting annoyed by / are making fun of is the relentless way an act is being pimped to high heaven and subsequently presented as a mega star, when in reality she had one minor hit, and that was mostly by overexposure.
As for Strictly, Anastacia danced to 'sax' and was promptly dropped into the dance off. Yeah, people love it...
