Sadly posts like this are usually more about looking for a reaction than a true belief.

It's been no fuelled by the tabloid press making something out of nothing. Hence the humorous posts, it's a serious subject but SCD fans know it's not true.
A few who still believe the tabloids may get taken in, but the majority know that papers like The Sun have an agenda.
Note The Sun printed three versions of why Will Young left, so two at least were made up.
What did Daisy or Laura do to deserve being in the dance off? Both are much better than anybody who has gone out and were mid way on the table on their respective weeks. I suppose there isn't any discrimination there just tough luck.

This show is about popularity and varying taste, so yeah, any result is just the luck (or not) of it (depending on which way you look at it).

Is this true? I know Wiki isn't always true. But if it is, I can see why they gave her Danny this year.

If that were true, that would suggest to me that the show's producers had already identified Danny as a potentially capable dancer.

Well, it's more that it suggests the shows producers knew already that Danny was going to be a "bookie's favourite", long before anyone had even seen him dance.

I would have thought the producers have to find out about dance ability way before they decide who to pair - so yes, I concur
I've never found any decent sources for that statement of Oti's. One HuffPost blog, the wikipedia page and this messageboard don't cut it. I can't imagine her saying something that inflammatory and the tabloids not bringing it up at every possible opportunity for about five years afterwards.
I would point out that Anthony Ogogoo was really really bad last year.

One wonders if she really did say that was she aware that all of the pros have been given a duff dancer at some point or another.
And did she say that I cannot seem to find anything on it , I see Anthony Ogogo did say this which I found rather odd to be honest, does he think being partnered with her hampered him ?
