5 After Midnight - Motownphilly (Boyz II Men)

Relley C - Nowhere To Run (Martha Reeves & The Vandellas)
Honey G - It's A Shame (The Spinners, but she would clearly do the Moni Love version)
Saara - What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted (Jimmy Ruffin)

Emily - Master Blaster (Stevie Wonder)
Sam - Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell)
Gifty - Papa Was A Rolling Stone (The Temptations)

Matt - I'll Be There (Jackson 5, they always seem to give that to the 'chosen one')
Freddie - Tracks Of My Tears (Smokey & The Miracles)
Ryan - Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder)

I'm not very up on my Motown Music, but I expect Matt Terry will get My Girl.

Fleur East got to do her judges houses song again at live shows. (Granted it was given a twist but still) so I can't see why not.

Gifty should do "Needle in a Haystack" I think it would suit her.

Gifty - Be My Baby (The Ronettes)
Sam - Who's Loving You (Jackson 5)
Emily - Where Did Our Love Go (The Supremes)

Relley C - Road Runner (Junior Walker & The All Stars)
Saara - I'm Gonna Make You Love Me (The Supremes)
Honey G - ?????????????????????

Ryan - My Girl (The Temptations)
Matt - I Heard It Through the Grapevine (Marvin Gaye)
Freddy - What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted (Jimmy Ruffin)

5am - Dancing In The Street (Martha Reeves & The Vendellas) or Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder)*

*I know Sir Duke isn't really a Motown song but since Stevie is/was on the Motown label, they could use it.

Some great choices there. I do hope we get some up tempo choices. I love Motown and suspect all the same old songs. Motown could make a great show, if imagination used.

nail on head

people jump on the theme as the problem, not that the prodcuers lack the imagination or knowledge to pick anything other than the same old songs, or that the contestants just dont have the talent to perform them

Totally agree. It's the same with 80s Week - instead of using a rich back catalogue of great tracks from the decade, they stick to Madonna, Whitney, Elton etc.

Totally agree. Stevie Wonder, Jacksons, Gladys Knight, will probably pop up. No-one can do Stevie Wonder any justice, Al Green or Marvin Gaye as will always compare and never will be good enough. Millions of much better suited songs to choose from. The show could be amazing if choices were different and suited the contestants. Not holding my breath
