This show has seriously lost the plot?

I know that I shouldn't be disrespecting the public vote blah blah blah, but how on Earth did Saara who is one of the better vocalists this year, and Freddy who plays the Piano and can sing to a reasonable degree (hence not needing all of the autotuned gimmicks) landed in the bottom three over people like Ryan, Samantha, and Emily who all sounded way worse this week?

Basically the show has just been told that it's okay to autotune it's contestants.

On a positive note at least Saara survived the sing-off.

Yes in circa 2010.

It's not all about this week though...and Ryan, Emily and Samantha aren't bad at all...they just didn't do their best this week...and singing is not the only criteria...the best singer usually doesn't win in any season minus a few...and Saara isn't exactly likable either...

I am shocked at how Sara was in the bottom 3, she was without a doubt THE best singer On Saturday and again today, although a very nervous vocal, showed she can be simply amazing. I have no idea why she was in the bottom 3 other than maybe the unnecessary booing she got in the 6 chair might have influenced people. Freddy was among the better singers on Saturday, but Cowell can really brainwash people into believing every word he says. The man knows NOTHING about singing talent.

Saara was always going to be in the bottom 3 whatever she did

Freddie being in the bottom 3 didn't surprise me at all, but surprised Ryan and Emily didn't join them.

You wont be watching for a while then as honey G isn't leaving this show anytime soon, I can see her getting quite far in tbh given all the hype. A good few will go before her.

I'm not sure what happened but nobody has a clue.
What is odd is that on the official youtube account for The X Factor UK, Saara's live performance got 3 times as many views as all the other live performances. So it's clearly a disconnect of liking her singing but not wanting to vote for the quirky foreigner.

These will be European views, the numbers for the girl group from the phillipenes last year were ridiculous

Not necessarily because she's foreign. I don't think she comes across as likeable. Although she has an amazing voice.

I get what you're saying, but the public wasn't asked to vote for her to win the show, they was just asked to have her proceed to next week which the public should've been able to do imo.
