calls from mauritius
im off on holiday on sunday and my network {3} said itll cost me £2/min to call home, really need advice on calling uk landline while out there as parents have serious health issues don't have internet access. if it makes a difference I'm using an android mobile, thanx for any help

Without internet out there your options are to going to be to use voice.
If you are willing to use a new number and your phone is unlocked then a local sim like EMTEL will cost around 25p per minute to call the UK. These are widely available in airports, supermarkets, kiosks, etc |

So you'll need to install Skype on your phone, then add a few quid credit, then dial the UK landline from Skype. Rates are 1.8p per min plus a connection charge of 3.1p. |

sorry for any confusion, I will have wifi at hotel but parents wont have internet access at home, so can I still use skype to call a landline??
