I grew up in The EastEnd and hardly ever heard it. But then I met my first boyfriend and my goodness it was non stop, not so much the women but the men. Father, uncles, cousins, even the little ones. It just seems to be the odd family that goes in for it. Family get togethers were a nightmare....I needed an interpreter. So I don't mind it just being Mick. I couldn't cope with every character using it.

I think that would have driven me insane

Half the time I don't know what Mick is going on about

It was worth the trouble...the guy was lovely In fact the whole family was great, I've never met a closer or more loving family.

It doesn't bother me because half of my family are Londoners.

It makes the show seen even more old-fashioned. I've noticed it slipping into other characters' speech here and there as well.

It doesn't bother me too much but I dislike the way he pronounces 'nut'. It drives me insane.

Extremely annoying that it it as the fact he is an awful character who has been ruined from what he was supposed to be as well as poorly acted by a man whose ego makes me sick make me skip every scene he is in. If I took over, i'd literally kill him off in the first episode.

Doesn't bother me either way, round here hardly anyone uses it but I understand it all and can put up with it.
