That's a fair point the problem is looking for pop stars out of their females which may not be what they want themselves

I agree. I thought when she did Ex's and Oh's with her guitar that was really where she shone. Did not feel anything during the lives last weekend.

Look very much like Emily is now out of favour with the producers - her VT last week was totally damning, her song and staging did her no favours and yet more negative stories in the press about her this week....doesn't look to me like she'll be sticking around for long!

I had initially thought she might have been pegged for a top three finish but not anymore!

She really used to till Cowell and the producers intervened, now she is slowly morphing into another Ella/Louisa/Lauren bland X factor contestant.

Where's all of Emily's support gone? She was one of very few being talked about on here and suddenly we're at the live shows and nobody seems to give a crap about her? Very fickle fan base, clearly.

In the latest 'favourite' poll on here, she's received four votes out of the 99 cast, beating only Ryan who's not got any votes at all.

To be fair Emily should be being judged based off her performances at the live shows, DS have been fair so far and voted accordingly as most of them didn't like what they heard from her off the first live show.

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like Emily's voice, but I do feel a bit sorry for the treatment she's receiving on the show right now. They've completely put the brakes on her. Her experience pretty much mirrors Mary, Janet, Eoghan, Christopher and such like. Unfortunately for her, they've picked her apart far earlier than those acts mentioned, but clearly Cowell's winner is someone who hasn't been shoved in our faces / not much of a fan base yet, and he'll be wanting rid of those who stand in their way fairly early otherwise his golden act may end up getting lost in it all by those who already have an established fan base. Seems to be trying to channel the Leona edit this year.

His chosen winner is already at the top and his name is Matt Terry.

Emily being sabotaged is to make sure that no rebel vote comes in those latter weeks against Matt Terry who will irritate people with being a frontrunner for so long.

He'll be left at the final two with someone that can't compete like Honey G, Saara, Freddy, or 5AM.

Matt Terry even gets vocal correction on his performances that most of the acts (and especially Emily) don't get as much of, or simply don't get at all.
