That "personal statement" seemed believable, but the lack of a comment on his twitter feed makes me suspicious. In fact I'm now a bit cross with myself for potentially falling for clickbait...

I worry about Will.

I am a long-time fan since he first started. Have all his albums and have seem him live twice. But... he has had a terrible battle with depression and now seems to be sliding into a persona where he cannot take the tiniest hint of stress.

It may be that, having made his pile, he isn't bothered, but if he does want to continue with his career, he's going to have to get with the programme.

All that said, I wish him well, but I have detected some prima donna behaviour which disappoints. Come on Will, you have a lot of fans out here. Please give back to them the support they have given you. The show must go on, and all that. You were absolutely fantastic in Cabaret and we love you.

It will be interesting to see how they handle having one less contestant. We *might* get a three-couple final again this year, but I wonder how they'd handle things in the semi-final.
