Some interesting thoughts on last Saturday's show here.

“"Honey G’s X Factor act isn’t funny. It’s modern-day blackface"

"The delighted response to the novelty rapper’s parody of black culture reveals how race really operates in post-Brexit UK"”

Quite possibly the biggest load of rubbish I have ever read. Thanks for sharing.

At least the contestants' songs weren't all the songs they use nearly every year. Nearly half had never been previously sung on a live show.

It was utter garbage. Completely falsified performances with overuse of backing vocals.

I didn't like it......................I hated it

Bit of a false thread title.

It's not a review of the 1st live show - it doesn't review anything apart from one contestant

It's an article on Honey G

...which means more than half were rehashed songs. There are surely enough songs in the world that they could come up with 12 new ones!

What an idiotic article. I dread to think of the meltdown the author will have when all the white acts are singing Motown songs this Saturday. "Cultural appropriation", give me a break.

Honey G is a Rapper which is prodominantly done by black people on average so of course she's gonna sing songs from black artists in that genre.

The complaint is absurd from the article.
