How do you know they were funnier if you are not able to assess how funny the new ones are (given you "completely miss what they say")? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Not sure who this Jessica is on Aisling's team but she's on the wrong show. Tom Allen is just annoying.
Melanie C is pointless and Joe Wilkinson is having an off night. Rob Beckett and Jimmy Carr keeping it going once again. Aside that, the pictures when they were at school was a good segment - Rob, Jimmy and Joe's pictures were the funniest, although Tom's was mildly amusing. The girls pictures were a little boring, which really went with their performances - they make Sara Pascoe look hilarious. Next week they have Alex Brooker and David O'Doherty so they should have something to offer, but also Gabby Logan who is dull and Ellie Simmonds (Paralympian) who I have no idea about. |

I did laugh a few times last night.........including one good belly laugh
I'm not exactly sure what it was .......might have been when Aisling was doing her impression of Sarf Londoners......

I actually really enjoyed this, had avoided the first few episodes as I'd heard bad things but was out of things to do so gave it a shot this week, thought it was really funny and Aisling and Rob bring a new (but still good) energy to the show.
I'm sure it'll only get better as they get more comfortable with it too |

it was really funny, loved the bit about them being at the same school but one was posh and one working class. dont like aisling though, she just mumbles to me and talks too fast
a hundred times more funnier than the countdown version which is a bore |

I'm warming to the show, it seems to have settled down nicely. Once you forget Sean and Jon the panelists take on a different perspective and are funny in their own right. I particularly liked the last mix of guests.

I'm warming to it as well, it's growing nicely.
Just watched the one with the school photos and thought it was brilliant (especially Joe Wilkinson's picture and Aisling singing 2 become 1 to her grandad.). I'll watch last nights soon. |

Didn't watch this weeks, so will have to catch up with it when it's repeated on Channel 4. I forget which night it's on there, but i'll find it.

dont know why its on another channel at an awkward time, its still fresh, the jibes are brilliant, some good guests on, infact the guests make the show and the one with the big teeth comes out with some funny lines

It's one of my must-see's right now especially the Countdown version, trouble is I've watched so many now... but while never been a fan of JC, watching 8 Out Of 10 Cats a lot has made him more tolerable.

It seems Rob and Aisling have been chosen to invite their mates on. Tim Allen for Rob and last week for Aisling it was some female friend (or maybe the week before) and this time Katherine Ryan. Aisling seems to be a bit of a name dropper to rival serial name dropper, Rita Ora. Tiff Stevenson on tomorrow - you can bet she's a friend of Aisling. |

When someone guesses something that's not on the board but Jimmy Carr has something on his autocue to add about it, it tells you that a lot of it is set up. Quote:
Seems to be his schtick. Must have the right agent as he clearly doesn't get invited back based on quality of material.

Naff episode. but then James Acaster is the kiss-of-death in any show, how on earth he gets repeatedly booked for TV I'll never know.

"What is it you do again?" asks Rob of Acaster.
"Stand-up comedian" lies Acaster. |

Cheers. Missed it but watching More 4 now.

Their agent/agency probably has more influence about who's invited onto the program. Acaster, as well as the stuff that he comes out with something about him just rubs me up the wrong way, there is a juddering downshift whenever he gets involved. |

comedians seem funnier on panel shows than doing their own material. rob beckett was hopeless on the royal variety.
couldnt sit through an hour of any comics dvd really but they seem funny on panel shows. |
