Well, Brattavio were horrible, I'm not sure what kind of tutelage he was meant to have given them. Four of Diamonds will be fine as they seem to know how to sing already. 5AM's vocals in the live show were also not great. What DOES Louis do?

Eh... what matters is what Brian Friedman does with them.

The show could work this angle for a sympathy vote but the Daily Star is generally an anti publication so I wouldn't take it to mean anything.

He did put through Bad Lashes and Girlband - maybe the idea was that they would split the vote and give JLS a better chance.

They were both in the sing off week 1

If we're playing on stereotypes then shouldn't girl groups benefit having Louis as a mentor considering alot of gay people like girlbands?

Didn't help Brattavio much.

I've seen this comment quite a bit on this forum but I've watched their performance a couple of times on YouTube and their vocals sounded solid. I think groups unfairly have the stereotype that they can't sing when it's clear they can. Even Little Mix got similar comments during their year.

The guy who typically stood on the right (as we look at them), in the white jumper, was horrendously out of tune throughout. The first two lines of the song sounds awful.

Yup. I just rewatched their performance from last weekend on YouTube. Just as I remembered, the guy in the white jumper is not very good.

I think they have marketable qualities, but live singing isn't going to be one of them if they continue in the music industry. Autotune can help them. Look at how well Cheryl Cole did.

This doesn't surprise me at all, it's proven he doesn't like working with girl bands, look at girls aloud and the previous girl bands he's mentored on the show. It wouldn't surprise me if he gives 4 of diamonds a very unsuitable song this weekend, they get criticized for their song choice this weekend and they end up in the bottom 3. All Louis cares about are his precious boy bands.
