Jazz FM is now available on Sky Digital at this frequency: 12324 V 27500 2/3 (Source: Lyngsat) The label is 'jfm', and it's Free-To-Air.

it should be pointed out that this is (sadly) the London version and not the (superior) N. W. England version ...

Lets hope its really JFM as was about 5 years ago (No, not the FM pirate of the 80's, but the revamped JazzFM that lasted for about 6 months).
For those that dont remember, They changed their RDS code to JFM & dropped some of the Jazz content, upped the soul & rare & made a wonderfull station . Dont know why they went back, rumor was that it was something to fdo with 'the regulator' ??

For anyone who remembers the london soul pirates JFM, Solar, Horizon LWR etc, sounded much like them, but with a decent signal & regular hours......

It's number 917 on the EPG, and the sound quality seems pretty awful.

It had considerably rather more to do with the fact that 'JFM' wasn't getting any audience.
