Made no sense to just fire one.

All 6 should have gone - they were utterly pathetic.

It's entirely his prerogative to call out both efforts as equally shit, which they were, but that's not to automatically say that at least one from each side should have been chopped. I think that's an advantage of a non-pecuniary based task.

Mukai should have been sacked too. He was terrible. At this early stage I think his Lordship is wary of firing someone who hasn't had a chance to shine and might be very good. That can be the only reason why Karthik survived.

The boys should have lost because they didn't fulfil the brief.
The girls at least did that. |

he's probably saving it up for a tripler down the line but doesn't want to fire too many too soon either.

Just watched on I Player. It looked like Alan was going to fire the Indian guy but I think sheer confidence and self belief saved him for now. The girl that completely cracked up should have probably gone. Amazing that Alan decided not to fire her.

I agree! At least one from each team should have gone based on the outcome; he in affect by firing one person from the woman's team awarded the men's team the win going by the rules of the competition. Mukai, Jessica and Natalie all should have gone in my opinion. Jessica and Mukai should have done well in this task given that is their background in fashion and marketing but they were terrible from time management to branding and video directing, it was all very bad. The men's team last year did brilliantly on the marketing task so hopefully this years crop have some skills in something. 🙄

I was amazed he didn't fire more last night. He looked more despairing than angry, and I was expecting a major cull!

I don't think Alana or JD deserved to be brought back, I think Rebecca and Dillon should have had those seats, then fire the lot of them.
![]() It's early doors, but only Samuel and Trish look level headed enough to be potential winners (which probs means next week they get fired). |

Karthik survived for two reasons. One - He makes good television. He's the comedy character of the series and stands apart from the others with his distinctive monobrow. Two - He presumably has a good business plan. |

The right person went, you could take a good guess and work out Natalie was not going to amount to much during the show. She was a misfit. No gumption no drive or even a show piece. Plus with her thick heavy accent nobody would've taken her seriously anyway unfortunately

I cannot stand Mukai or Karthik any longer.
Was genuinely surprised that wasn't a double firing (or triple. Mukai and Karthik BE GONE) Yuk |

Normally aint the branding challenge a bit later in the series? Its a sort of task that when you need to filter 4-5 people down its a better team task.
And of the two products the Mrs preferred the boys as she said at least it looks pretty and can be of use for the cat to sit in at least. The roll had no real use in a house generally, would you spend that much effort re-rolling stuff to fit it back into such a container? And also what could you use it for afterwards? |

Two - He presumably has a good business plan. 1) irritating though he undoubtedly was, he did not directly mess anything up 2) Lord Sugar has always been a sucker for those who argue their corner most vociferously 3) there were people ahead of Karthik in the queue to be fired Alana and Jessica probably saved each other -- they both cracked up. If it had been just one, she'd probably have gone. |

Really bad decision making by LS for me, the girls project was marginally less cringeworthy than the boys so at least one boy should have gone.
Cannot argue the case for Natalie, she was terrible in the board room but then so was Alana and she stayed. Did not make any sense to me. Karthik and/or Mukai should have gone. Rebecca and Alana are both too emotional to stay the distance. None of them will win |
