They are SO out of their depth this season!
Melissa.

It's crazy how many of them are crumbling under the pressure, it makes for uncomfortable viewing. Jessica's breakdown, Alana losing it in the boardroom, Dillon allowing pleasure to cloud his business judgement.

Samuel and Aleksandra are the most levelheaded candidates I've seen so far.

Yea Dillon was too busy getting turned on by the model's abs. Mixing business with pleasure. The other two are ok since it's early days I think they're allowed that much leeway at least

I thought the series with 20 candidates was the worst but I was wrong - this series was DIRE.

And I believe Lord Sugar had it enough as well. Maybe he was hoping for a good year so as to wrap up the whole franchise.

I know it looks that way, but it did last season, too. It's almost as though they get picked for televisual reasons, rather than business acumen. I could pick 18 people from work (had I not retired ) who would perform better...

Ican't tell how you'd work that one out, Samuel has been less than invisible and the only thing I've seen Aleksandra do is bitch...

We've seen that theres foreign language tasks and if she's still there we know someone who's got to perform so i think somehow people are saved just so they can be seen to f'k up at their subject...so you have a degree in French so why did you tell the only dealer of the item we wanted to go and shove it up his ar&e when he was willing to make a deal in Paris.

This is the generation who were not allowed to have a sports day at school and who got driven to school in a car and whose parents indulged their every whim and kept telling them how wonderful they are.

What a humourless bunch of namby pamby puffed up total talentless twerps.

The vast majority of the candidates are in their thirties, Alana is the youngest at 24, so I don't think this is reason? They're just incompetent, nothing to do with what generation they are from.

Thirty year olds with the social skills of three year olds. The worst bunch ever.

I don't think they are that bad. Okay so they're not doing great, but I felt Lord Shuggs went a little OTT just to whip up some interest in the series (which worked for me since I'm more interested to see what happens next).

Usually the world doesn't see what goes on behind the scenes of a business and people on the team don't have the pressure of working with a bunch of strangers on unique tasks they may never have done before with cameras in their faces being judged by the nation.
I don't know, I think I'd be crying and looking like a fool too.

Its amazing how far self-confidence can get you in business it seems, they all have these highflying jobs but many seem to lack key basic reasoning skills - maybe its just the pressure though who knows.

They all seem really young, like A level Media students trying to do their practical coursework assignment.

Yes the ones with confidence can bullshit their way so far, one on one. In a group though, they regressed to toddlers in a nursery, still learning to talk and taking their toys from others when they realise they can't socially interact!

One perennial problem is they are all used to either being the boss or working alone. Most of them have no idea of how to work in a team. As PM's, it's "my way or the highway"; within the teams, they cannot put their ideas forward without undue aggression (eg Karthik) or giving up in favour of prolonged whining to the cameras.
