Samsung S7/Edge users?

Has your phones ever randomly lost mobile data? Got home from work and when I checked twitter I noticed nothing happened 4 hours since I last checked it, then news app wasn't loading either. Then I realised the icon that normally shows H or 4G with the two small up/down arrows wasn't there, just had a couple of bars of signal but the data was completely off. So I turned airplane mode on and off and my data has come straight back on.
A quick Google showed some folks having this issue, is this normal from time to time? Anyone else with a S7 or edge had this happen?

I've had the phone for 2 weeks and this is the first time it's happened.

I had iPhones before that did something very similar from time to time where by you try to do something like load an app or a website and you'd just get the spinning loading icon but nothing happens, then as soon as you turn airplane mode on/off it springs back into life!
Thanks

Had the edge since Launch.....doesn't lose 4g signal really but it does use a hell of a lot of data unless you restrict apps.

All I ball a great great phone

Yeah very happy with my S7 coming from an iPhone 6S which I've still got until I sell. Enjoying the freedom Android gives me and the extra screen real estate.

Also something else that's very welcome is the fact I can download apps/games that are over 100mb in file size without needing to connect to WiFi.

Data isn't an issue courtesy of Three's unlimited data

No problem here with the S7 Edge but I'm mainly on wifi. Data has been working fine whenever I've used it.

Thanks for the replies folks.

It's been fine since but in our house the signal is a bit sketchy in some rooms so I reckon it's just down to that and that's why the data was lost in the first place.
