The reports say that Brendon & Anastasia are fighting behind the scenes. It is not surprising due to Brendon's past behaviour with some of his other female celebs he partnered. But they say Anastasia is fighting back and not putting up with his grumpy behaviour. Find it interesting especially as the viewers are not shown this when the dancing competition is on for a good reason of course!

I don't know if this is true or not. I often feel, that the training video excerpts we are shown are selected to manipulate us to see certain couples in a certain light and vote accordingly.

If the reports are true and they are arguing the.we don't know the background/cause. Without this, I think it is wrong to automatically assume that It is all Brendan's fault.

This story could be spun different ways. I could think of a few alternative explanations for any rows, but wouldn't post them here without evidence.

My money's on Anastacia, with a head scissors lock and a submission. Am looking forward to it.

Personally I don't think the BBC give a flying monkeys which way you vote as long as you keep watching. Considering most of the VTs shown on the show are pre-planned little sketches that doesn't feel particularly manipulative.

And if there's anything that we've learnt from the past week, it's that the tabloids are always, definitely, 100% correct about everything.

It's " The Sun" based on a small training clip, where anyone can get techcy.

Sorry re nothing, The Sun has got it in for SCD hence all the articles and photos of the Jordan's.

Brendan spent part of last night in A&E so that might be the thing he is most concerned about today.

Their fighting is probably a lot more watchable than their dancing. 😏

Just seen his Twitter feed. Lung infection. Unable to breathe properly. Poor Brendan!

Why do people start threads like this and not include links to the article in question? What 'reports' are you on about OP?

I'd add that some of 'em are badly pre-planned little sketches.

Badly planned irrelevant sketches
"let's waste half a day of training and ride Segways round Regent's Park pretending that doing so will improve our balance and therefore our dancing "

Am sorry to hear that, will he be OK to dance, the series seems to be plagued by all sorts of injuries this year.

Poor thing.
It must have been bad for him to finish up in A&E.
I won't be surprised if he cannot dance tonight.
Hope he is feeling better now.

So do I. Get well soon Brendan, but dancers are tough and detirmed and it won't surprise me if he dances. I have known dancers to compete at high level with broken toes.

However, I am aware that the celeb can get a "bye" if sick or injured, but does that work for the pro too ?

I think a lot of it is down to the fact that the producer believes five programmes of training clips a week won't hold the viewers' attention and they'll turn over and watch something else.
When I see some of the rubbish they include, like the things mentioned and "Friday Panels" (do I care what Jeremy Vine thinks?) I usually do turn over, so for me, their actions defeat their purpose.

I agree ,this is the reason I have not watched the show in ages. As a dancer, I want to see dancing and all things related to dancing, ie updates on training, . They have too much filler on this show and I too, have no real interest in what non dancers think. They do not know what they are looking at so how can they really comment. Keep to the training clips, have more Pros in for interview, more technical discussions and tips for viewers.
