Yeah definitely. You watch Eastenders as well don't you?
Emmerdale is my favourite but from what you have said Hollyoaks sounds like it would suit you best. Corrie would probably be the hardest to get into never watched any of the others, but seen photos here and there, and corrie looks like something ancient and emmerdale - that's on a farm innit ? at least, acc to what I have read so far, Hollyoaks is in a suburb (like e.g. walford) i.e. not so dated/rural - and something which may give Mr. Barnaby a run for his money |

One of the main reasons it has so many deaths is because it loves serial killers. Only one left now though, Cameron Campbell who will probably die soon. Looks like more villains will arrive in the new year, so a good place to start.

so what is most frequently used for the murders ? personally I prefer poison (like Agatha Christie) - clean and efficient - and you needn't hang around, if you put it into a bottle of some medicine and it sinks to the bottom .. and hey presto .. when the last is poured out ... still used to everything from Midsomer Murders - but there's one episode I have never seen again - been repeated now two or three times: Old man lives in the forest with a fox - some teenage kids kill the fox - that was just too upsetting - never again - may seem weird after so many murders in the Midsomer area, one of the worst being a woman sitting in the garden, half asleep - and a person with an oversized vet's syringe approaches ... phew
Cameron seems to have a habit of either blowing someone up (Joe, Nico, Joe's Brother) or strangling them with a rope. The last murder was Celine is early December after he strangled her when she threatens to go to the police with a video of him causing the halloween fire. They also had a hospital killer before I started watching who injected 7 people, killing them. but she died around a year ago.

sounds nearly like Midsomer - just in another setting - last murder December, and today's headline in the Hollyoaks section is about someone about to commit another one.
![]() I doubt that Jack Osbourne will die, as he has probably been in it since 2000 or so. Someone else may die though - Eva or Liam most likely |

Well to be fair it is an hour long special tonight. They dont have episodes on Christmas Day and New Years Day so this will basically take it's place.

think I will read about it at first, find the odd one from this year on youtube so I can start to familiarize myself with it - and then middle of next month - when R&R (ee) are sorted and hopefully Lee too - and it should be slightly more quiet - then have a go with the new episodes.

very curious, but how long time did it take you to get to know the EE characters and "feel confident" - or do you still feel like a "guest" on the square sometimes?
It took me much longer to get into Emmerdale - lots of spurious kids and they don't rotate the cast as much as EE. |

O M G seems like you've better not start liking someone (like I adore Jay from EE - and - cry cry Roxy) because they may be murdered or arrested for murder before you know it. |
