Everytime I navigate through these forums, I get redirected to an annoying page which then opens the App Store.

Using an iPhone 6S. Tried clearing the history and website data in Safari.

Only happens on Digital Spy. Any ideas?

It will be a dodgy ad. Have you tried a blocker like Adblock Plus?

This site has disreputable, even malicious ads from time to time.

Always use a content blocker in safari. Before apple allowed these, i was often getting bounced in to the app store from various sites.

I'm using 'AdGuard' at the moment, it's free and you can customise the filter lists you use, which not many other ones have.

That ad may no longer be in the rotation.

I used Crystal from the app store, its free, for a long time, but now I prefer Silentium.

That's why I continue to block adverts in Safari even when a pop-up from a website asks me to add it to the white list.

I know they have to source their income and adverts are one avenue but 99.9% of the time they serve no purpose other than to infuriate me!

I can't believe this is happening still. I'll use the 'contact us' page to let DS know. .
