Can't just be xenophobia.
We've had Ruth Lorenzo, 4th impact etc.

As stupid as it sounds, I think it's because of Brexit. Xenophobia seems to have become 'okay' since then. Poor girl, she is fantastic!

She is best girl singer

Come on, Brexit has been blamed for everything.

Its such a shame, she can sing and she is fun and not desperate

I think it was the 6 chair challenge, when she came on after she had been given another chance then she sang gibberish in French, people just went off her what a shame

Personally, her style of singing leaves me absolutely cold and I don't find her particularly appealing as a person

The producers chose to portray her as delusional and desperate throughout the auditions so people never warmed to her. She's meant to be the early cannon fodder that allows the more marketable teens to get ahead.

Missed her last night so can comment on that - but based on her Sing Off it is pretty obvious - if it was down to me both Freddy and Saara would go.

I think she'd be great in a stage musical, or the lead singer of a Euro-group, but her voice doesn't have enough individuality or "heart" as a solo singer.

I am not surprised that Saara was in the bottom two, she has a good voice, i just dont think the public can warm to her for whatever reason.

Its just the way it goes, i have seen this with other X Factor contestants from the past,

I love her but I get why people don't warm to her as she does seem a bit forced at times. She's this year's Kitty Brucknell.

It's really just that they can affect the factors that make people vote i.e. song/staging/slot and they don't want her to do well. It works almost every time.

ETA: If they really wanted someone to go, they'd have given them Ain't No Mountain High Enough.

lol she aint done anything wrong, she even thought she was going home shes quite adorable in a goofy kind of way and without doubt the best singer there, slowly becoming my fave.

Is it because she doesn't stop smiling ?

That sing off though, hopefully they give her something she can work with

luckily she got just enough votes to avoid coming bottom, else she would have been out

The 6 Chair Challenge excuse is very poor because Mason Noise had a MUCH worse attitude than her and he wasn't in the bottom every week.

Have to agree with you. This behaviour made her really unlikable.

That's before Brexit though.

I think as the show is getting older it's caring less and less about the singing, and more about who's "nice" Saara doesn't fit the "nice" category and therefore most people don't want to vote for her.

And just to add I think her sometimes oversinging on the actual live shows isn't helping her either.

I'd add to that the fact she seems to be getting no support from Sharon or the show.
Hopefully a credible manager is watching and takes her on.

She got a terrible edit before live shows.

Plus, I think her potential vote is being eaten by other acts. We now have a 7/3 Female/Male ratio which is very unusual.

Plus her own supposed mentor makes a big thing of not even bothering to remember her name or where she is from "Let's all laugh at this random foreigner".

Plus, British voters don't like "quirky" females on these sorts of shows. At all.

Ruth Lorenzo came 10th in week 1 and 2. There was only a bottom 2 then, so she narrowly avoided it in week one but was there in week 2. She was there again in week 5 and was eliminated on the lowest viewers votes in week 8.
