I will kick off with a few:

I think killing Pat Butcher was the right thing to do (EE)

Bringing Dead Kathy back from the dead was a mistake (EE)

I think Stuart Blackburn was no where near as bad as made out (Corrie)

I like Sean Tully got to issues with him at all (Corrie)

I love Dev Alahan.

Eastenders wasn't that bad under DTC.

Killing Pat off was the biggest mistake they ever made. In they hadn't killed her off they wouldn't have needed to dig up Kathy.

I can't stand Dot Branning

I agree. It was more Alex Lamb who ramped up the sensationalism.

I'm excited about 6 episodes of Corrie a week.

I agree with the OP's EE comments, but disagree with her Corrie ones.

I was glad that Emmerdale's Viv Hope got killed off.

And I never got the love for Hollyoaks' Brendan Brady (who should have been killed off)

O, I think it was right Pat would never have left the square otherwise and so killing her was the only option and her death was done well apart from the derek Branning bit.

I suspect Kathy would still have been dug up

i thought corrie was good last yr! i enjoyed the Callum/Platt story!

and i like Sean too! its Antony Cotton that annoys me, what a prick!

i thought Rita's mugging in the park was funny
i didn't understand the criticism of Callum Logan, Sean Ward played him well IMO, he had the wannabe gangster thing off to a T!
my fave ever year of corrie was in 2013, no one likes 2013 on here

River City is a little gem of a soap
Coronation Street's infamous humour sometimes just isn't all that funny
Ross Barton sucks, as do the other Nu-Bartons bar Emma (she the best one)
Doctors on the whole is underrated and deserves more recognition

Callum actually wasn't too bad, loads of people are like him exist in today's society. All he needed was a bit of loving and nurturing. Also I don't think he would of hurt Sarah, he just wanted to shut her up, all Kylie had to was walk in and threaten to call the police.
