I didn't t like Viv or Val in Emmerdale

I thought Stuart Blackburn was quite a good producer, for ED anyway

I liked Sean Spencer and I thought Ali was alright as well.

I thought Kim Tate's s exit was quite corny

I thought Joe Sugden was a temperamental brat

This is better than therapy

EastEnders

Kim isn't funny.
Despite improving in recent weeks, Stacey is a hugely overrated character.
Lauren is a stale character and her return has been pointless.
Johnny deserves better than slimeball Steven.
Shirley and Phil are a good pairing. Sharon and Phil are a bad pairing.
Jack is a good character.
Tilly Keeper is a good choice for Louise and doesn't look too old for the part.
Janine is overrated and should never return.
Shane Richie is a very good actor.
The fairground disaster of 2004 wasn't a bad storyline.
Dominic Treadwell-Collins was a terrible producer.
The best two Christmas episodes were the happier ones in 2003 and 2005.

The walking dead is boring and repetitive
I prefered uncle Albert to grandad in OFAH
googlebox is stupid
BUT MY ULTERMATE ONE i LIKED THE STAR WARS PREQUELS
I agree with you on all of these!

Agreed, I think new Johnny is better than old Johnny in Eastenders.
New Johnny acts like a Plank of Wood

He looks like one as well

CS - I am finding the Platts beyond tedious now.

CS - I don't find Sean as annoying as most people seem to.

CS - I would like Ken and Audrey to get together as a couple.

CS - Erica will always be Kim Tate in my eyes.

ED - Charity ran out of storylines long ago-she is a monotonous character.

ED - The Whites are turning into "panto mode" now. We need another Tate family.

ED - Cain can't play the "hard man" anymore.

A final note: I love Doctors - it is so underrated.

Old Johnny was so much better. New Johnny talks with no personality or empathy, most obvious pure script reading across the soaps.

And a few more:

Hollyoaks:
Cameron deserved everything Sam Lomax put him through.

Cleo/Nathan isn't cute or romantic, just very, very boring.

Mercedes is the best relationship prospect Joe has ever had. I think it's silly to make out she single-handedly ruined his life and he "shouldn't have expected differently", when his relationship history includes the likes of Joanne and Lindsey.

EastEnders:
I LOATHE Honey. She's not cute, funny, nor entertaining.

I don't think Martin and Sonia should have ever got Rebecca back. I feel it reinforces the view that adoptive parents aren't "real" parents - they're just glorified babysitters stepping in until the birth parent decides they want the child back. (Although in fairness I have to say EE was better about it in this case than in others; it was shown that Margaret had a very good relationship with Rebecca, and Martin and Sonia were mindful of that when meeting her.)

Juley wasn't that bad.

I preferred the original Shabnam over the re-cast in almost everything except the stillbirth storyline.

I'm a fan of Debbie (Emmerdale), Paige (Neighboours) and Theresa (Hollyoaks).

I have more......

I hate soap bitches. To me they are ten a penny and it feels like it is the norm to portray women as being evil self serving manipulators. If they aren't bitches they are gormless, what happened to 'normal' balanced people? I want to see women shown in a positive way.

I hate the White family in ED esp Chrissie and her son!

I hate Phelan and Vinny in CS their storyline is stupid as Eileen is way too savvy to fall for a rogue like that.

I hate Michelle McDonald in CS...and the double pregnancy story is just awful!

I am sick to death of the Platts in CS and it's been boring as hell since Kylies death. David Platt is a one horse act!

Hollyoaks is for children

I hate Linda Carter in EE...she looks more like Micks mother and is constantly whinging. Mick would never marry a woman like that! I hate Lee Carter too he's a whinger like his mother.

I have hated Ronnie and Roxy in EE since their first appearance...so pleased they're leaving!

Oh sorry, Frasier Hines. I was only a kid when I watched in the eighties and I missed most of the nineties so I'm probably being unfair but he just always seemed to be sulking from what I remember ( yeah I know, just like Cain)

Eastenders
- I think the majority of the hate for Jane Beale on here is over the top. Yes, her actions were wrong, but the way some carried on she is a mass murderer on the scale of Hitler.
As one of those hating on Jane let me just be clear that I do not think she's as bad as Hitler, if she was her current situation wouldn't be punishment enough. Going by her recent actions however I'd say her predicament is just desserts as far as I'm concerned.

But that's not what so much annoys me, what annoys me is the way they are writing her and her storyline. They are trying so hard to turn it into "Oh poor Jane, poor Jane everyone feel sorry Jane! All she did was love her family too much to protect them! Wise old Jane is everyone's friend don't you just love her?" No screw you Eastenders doesn't wash with me, you are NOT going to force me to love and feel sorry for Jane after all that crap she's pulled. People rightly give Phil a lot of flak but you know something? At least Phil doesn't pretend/act like all his horrid actions are done out of the goodness of his heart! And there's another reason to not like Jane, she's just made me defend Phil dammit!

We probably won't agree here SecretLifeoBees so let's agree to disagree. Just hope I made my point clear.

And whilst I'm here, here's more what may or may not be unpopular opinions:

I'm glad the Cokers are gone and will not miss them. Really don't understand all the fuss to be frank.

Also all Soaps need to seriously stop with the characters shoving their hands inside of bins to accidentally find the incriminating evidence the other characters tried to desperately hide. I mean who does that seriously? They don't even bother washing their hands afterwards just YUCK!

And I still miss Cameron Murray, why did they have to turn him into a serial killer dammit.

EE:

Lauren has had a pointless return, and I do think it's time the character was written out.
Kim is entertaining, and we do need to have a big personality on the show, and she is it.
Shakil aka ManBun has improved
DTC did get it right on some things, but there is a tarnished show SOC strives to repair
2012 was the best Christmas episode.
I think Louise Mitchell is a fantastic character, same with Bex
Jack Branning is better now than ever before. I like this fatherly, sedate version of the character.
I'm one of the few that actually would be open to a Bianca return!
I'd have kept Tyler Moon on.

I think sensationalism is a cheap quick fix - I'm glad EE is returning to it's roots.

Hollyoaks:

None of the gay male characters in Hollyoaks from about 2011 onwards has interested me. I liked Brendan as a villain but didn't care about his relationships. Despise Ste and can't stand James - not because they're gay, just because they're awful characters.

I find Jade and Alfie dull and their storyline, while touching, rips off a lot from The Fault in Our Stars. In general, Alfie annoys me - his character often feels like a checklist of "quirky" elements that they thought teen viewers would think are cool.

Trevor/Sienna and Tegan/Ziggy were horrid

Joanne has no good qualities whatsoever and Rachel Leskovac's acting is not enough to justify keeping Joanne on the show.

Peri should have had an abortion as she wanted. She never had post-natal depression and shouldn't have been portrayed as such - she was simply overwhelmed at being expected to be the sole carer for a baby she didn't want to have in the first place. The Osbournes' behaviour towards her was shameful; they tried to persuade her to keep the baby by promising to look after it, but then expected her to take care of the baby pretty much single-handedly and give up her education while making no such demand on Tom. When Peri wanted a break, who did they ask to step up and help? Jade, another child who was supposed to be in their care!

Far too much of Tom's and Cameron's behaviour is excused with "fathers' rights". A father has a right to see his children - not to be in a relationship with the mother. Tom doesn't have, and never had, the right to have a child just because he lost his own family.

Darren and Nancy are fine together, and should stay together for at least another year or two. If they do split up again, it should be permanent this time.

The promos done for the annual stunt week should be brought back more often for major events and storylines, like the show used to do (e.g. for Mercedes and Riley's wedding or the "Savage Party")

Silas is still a great villain and his re-appearance was better than 99% of everything else the show's done this year.

The whole "Six Weeks of Summer" thing is totally pointless
Jade has had a poignant storyline but Peri adds more to HO generally. The way she stood up to Jade being negative to Nico (who admittedly deserved it but anyway) was one of her best scenes yet.
