opinions from owners, is this a good tv to buy now?
I want a big screen, I kinda want 3d, and probably 4k (but struggle to find 3d at this price point)

current price is £590

I will be moving on from a panasonic ET60 42inch

thanks

The general consensus is 3D is dead in the water now.

In terms of 4k - don't forget you'll need a source to feed it 4k material. Currently there are no 'over the air' broadcasts in 4k and the tuner in the set won't be able to receive them.

Have to admit, I'm not a Sony fan so would probably be looking elsewhere, but others will doubtless disagree.

I bought a Panasonic 42 inch 720p plasma in early 2005 and was extremely pleased with it. About 18 months ago I bought a Sony Bravia 55 inch 1080p LED LCD TV and it's better than the Panasonic. If the one you're interested in has good reviews go for it.

I have the 43 inch version. It's a great TV especially HD channels. The only negatives are lag sometimes on the remote and catch up on Android doesn't always work.
