IMO the song would come off very well acoustically, because of the heavy guitar.

I really want F.U. to have a big awards performance and I already have the whole concept in mind. By the last chorus I need them to look all messy with their make up messed up because of crying and all really going aggressively for it. Perrie's last "you cheat and you lie and I knooow that you're hiding TWO ceeeellphoones" is the best delivery she's ever ever given on their career, so strong, so aggressive, so good. Well done.

If they extend the era enough to still be releasing singles by the end of next year I can see it as their christmas single.

It is listed on the album in a single slot yet the lyrics might be too bold, but what a piece of music.

The vocals are awesome and the music has a lovely 60s sound to it but the lyrics give it a modern twist. A proper pop song that needs to be performed with a live band in a 60s girl group format.

I might be wrong but this is the kind of song that will garner some critical acclaim.

And the outfits they used for the RV performance would be perfect. Can I just mention that this is one of the few songs done with different producers? Makes me wonder what other new sides of them we'd see, not that this one was totally unprecedented given LMLY's existence but it's still not usual for them.
