I have to say it was nice seeing them styled in the elegant girl group outfits for once at Royal Variety.

It's just occurred to me how great 'Shout Out To My Ex' would be as a country song. The lyrics are very honest and humorous* at some points in a similar vein to how most country songs are.

ok but who's voting for that other song? it's got to be other fandom
casualviewer
04-11-2016
Suspiciously, the Glamberts suddenly logged 400 votes within 10 minutes.

Edit: oh now its 500 votes. FIX! Oh well, at least the station saw the interest. I was worried apathy would lead the station to not even bother.

Yours truly also learned how to use 3 devices to vote. Next time.

yeah there's no way these votes weren't done in some odd manner
casualviewer

Literally within me refreshing in 3 minutes, the vote went from 100 behind to 400 ahead. And now its at 800 ahead. The LM fans put up a good fight at least. I hate these fan voted things. Just play the damn song.

I hate it too...

Down & Dirty and Private Show are the DJ Freedo songs.

At least PS is confirmed through his likes on twitter.

Shame they're both not even 3 minutes long...

Ha thats great. That song was made for dancing.

Whatever happened to that rumor about them being in Brazil Dec. 9? I guess we know that aint happening now or do we?

Hopefully it's because they're fast pace dance songs that get to the point.

The girls said the album's dancier but the three tracks so far haven't been so there's still that to look forward to, so far it's MNEK and DJ Freddo driving the dance/club direction.

For those who have heard F.U does it sound anything like this?

It's from the same production team.

Is this new??? Woooo

Shout Out to My Ex officially #7 NZ this week.
http://nztop40.co.nz/

Is that their highest peak so far there?
ShaynaJay
04-11-2016
^^ yes that is new, they were #12 last week and that previously was their highest peak.

I heard it on the radio a couple times today at work and the radio announcer was absolutely loving it. It's coming into summer down this end of the world so I won't be surprised if it does well down under.

I was just completing the download on iTunes from my pre order and I see that there are 4 other tracks which have their track length showing (excluding the 3 we have already heard). The album comes out in two weeks......they aren't releasing 4 more instant grats are they?

The tracks in case anyone cares.......

Touch
Down & Dirty
Nobody Like You
Nothing Else Matters

It's not blocked by IP. You can just use something like iMacros to refresh the page and vote every few seconds. Meaningless poll. Too bad I didn't see it in time.

Personally I dont want more grats released, however, is this just a way to ensure that SOTME's streams that count towards the album dont get averaged down too much? If there were no other tracks streaming, SOTME would have to average against zero, but if several tracks are streaming even a little, that average gets higher and gets the album more equivalent points. They certainly dont need to worry about enticing sales since I think LM is going to do really well just on their reputation, and physicals will make up the bulk of sales.

My phone got blocked because of "too many votes". I switched it over to my WiFi and it worked.

Since they're arriving within a week or so its going to be great timing to push it up higher in the region. Campaign for a tour stop.

Its #9 on Aussie airplay now too.

Hmm, I wonder if the station was expecting LM to win. They tweeted out 4x tonight about the poll, and each time they used the pic of LM to promote it. Then they never tweeted out they were playing the winner like they usually do.

I think CV and myself suggested the CW thing at about the time when this thread was split. A duet with the Dixie Chicks or Carrie Underwood would be a great idea. The Dixie Chicks have annoyed the right wingers with their duet with Beyoncé I notice.

Even Mr. Spectrum Pulse noted that SOTME sounded like Folk Pop and he felt it was a good fit for them.

Did you see what Natalie Maines posted?

Hey everybody! The CMA's just called and asked us to co-host next year's show with Beyoncé.Unfortunately I've got a thing that night so, no.

Even though they got wiped off the CMA's site, Dixie Chicks posted the performance on their SoundCloud.

Good on The DCs.

The US is going to be a fascinating place for the next four years. A house divided etc.
