The seventh No.1 single in a row to rack up three weeks at the summit - an unprecedented run - Little Mix's Shout Out To My Ex does so with ease, although the track is now in decline, with sales dipping 29.31% to 79,039. Paid-for sales slide 39.28% to 37,318, while streaming sales are also off sharply, falling 17.15% to 41,721.
With fellow X Factor graduate James Arthur - who Little Mix dethroned last month - debuting atop the album chart Back From The Edge, The X Factor simultaneously provides the No.1 single and the No.1 album for the first time since 7 December 2012, when Olly Murs' Right Place, Right Time debuted atop the album chart while his single Troublemaker enjoyed its second week at the summit.
Arthur's Say You Won't Let Go remains at No.2 on the singles chart for the third week in a row. With streaming boosted by the release of his album its tally of 67,511 sales is 14.58% below Shout Out To My Ex, compared to 32.97% a week ago.
While Little Mix continue atop the chart with Shout Out To My Ex, they debut at No.61 (9,229 sales) with You Gotta Not, another track from their upcoming album Glory Days, and another savage diss.
