If it's a mixture of both their faces, then a line down the middle doesn't mean much?

I am on the older end, so I'm glad of this. And if they can gain some critical acclaim....

SOTME is certified Gold and Hair 2x Platinum in Australia this week

Ooh which one is this?”

I like the reference to sound production, have they been reading this thread?

They've been reading every crit from everyone since 2012 I'm sure.

Interesting notes Nissl. As I've mentioned the last week, even as UK streams decline the global streaming maintains or slightly increases. I guess thats a good sign of making headway outside their homebase.

if they manage to break every country but the US I don't really care, I think South America is very attached to the US though, on this matter

Remember we were wondering about the choice of tour stops internationally? Do you think it was based on the streaming data by location? It seems like they are reinforcing those strengths which hopefully means expansion in tour venue size.

Unsurprisingly, Brazil is one of the few countries showing a major decline in SOTME's streaming. Its not had any visits from them yet either. Sweden is really rising.

Fun with graphs.

That Norway appearance really helped on iTunes.

#13 Norway (+83)

Hopefully that's a preview of what they can expect from promoting in each of these European countries over the next month. They are really moving the needle.

Interesting how well not only SOTME but also F.U are doing on streaming in Greece.

I think the bump on Youtube is mostly a normal weekend effect tbh. They haven't really moved positions on the Kworb chart, though they are at the high end of their range the last few days.

Something increased US iTunes too. #126 +18 now from yesterday.

Yeah it got a nice bump from the F.U release. Shout out to Apple Music for putting it on the front page of hot tracks and Tweeting about it too.

I don't remember You Gotta Not having a noticeable effect.

I'm going to predict 30k opening for GD in the US. Notice LM no longer feel the need to release in the kinder non Q4 times of the year since Get Weird.

The Spice Girls have a #1, #3, #39 and #93 BB200 album history.
LM has #4, #6 and #13.

Album prediction - #3 with 48k sales. There's no way they are beating Metallica, and Bruno is probably way ahead of them in preorders now too going by iTunes..

Fingers crossed they can bag another top 20 in the US but I'm doubtful.

Bruno has been behind LM for all the weeks until his XF performance. Also, iTunes is no indicator for their physical sales.

The thing thats different for LM in the US is that SOTME will contribute something in its sales and streaming toward equivalent album chart points, no matter how small.

Radio play spotted in Benin now. They must be doing really well on some metric in African countries... but what? The tracking sites don't seem to follow the continent outside of South Africa.

I'm feeling a 1 week regional tour coming on... Cape Town/Johannesburg/Nairobi/Lagos. Maybe Accra as well. Do major western pop acts ever tour Africa outside SA?

I remember when SA was Rhodesia.

I dont think the markets are big enough outside of SA are they? I wonder if they would stop in Dubai this time.

The following should help :- See:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zambia..._and_Nyasaland
Northern Rhodesia became the Republic of Zambia on 24 October 1964
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Rhodesia
The Colony of Southern Rhodesia was a self-governing British Crown colony in southern Africa from 1923 to 1980, . . . . the country achieved internationally recognised independence as Zimbabwe in April 1980

Nigeria has a rich music tradition but seldom appears on tour lists. Security is a big issue these days.

I doubt their presence in Nigeria is big enough for a tour date...

I have been thoroughly schooled today.

On another note, I was just checking Kworb and a banner ad to check out SOTME on YouTube appeared! I've never seen that before for them. Is that something that Sony put up or does it come from YouTube?

I just checked a random ad on Kworb (right click element on page, select inspect) and based on the link it's being served by DoubleClick, which is a Google property. The ad was probably purchased through Google's main ads program by Sony.

Can I assume thats a hopeful sign the label is looking into pushing the song a little bit at least? I do remember seeing ads for Black Magic back when, but for the song in iTunes, not for the video specifically.

The reason I was on Kworb was to note that Clean Bandit's sales must be falling off from 12 hours ago. I dont know why.
