They have to stopover. Last time they mentioned stopping in Singapore so they might be on the 9:45. Also remember timezones, its already Friday in AUS.

People. Full capacity at arenas is for center sporting events, not concerts with end stages.

Official X F guest announcement
https://au.tv.yahoo.com/x-factor/331...gasbord/#page1

From that Daily Telegraph link

The Glory Days tour plays Perth Arena on August 7, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on August 10, Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on August 11 and Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne, on August 12.

Tickets go on sale on November 17 via Ticketek.

There's a 2 day gap between Perth and Brisbane, are they hoping for an expansion or just resting after traveling across Aus?

All the capacities are for concerts and are less for sports.

You have that backwards. For instance Manchester's full capacity is bigger than the concert capacity. Sydney will not have 20k seats available.

Perth - the venue will hold up to 13,910 spectators for tennis events, 14,846 for basketball (the arena's capacity is capped at 13,000 for National Basketball League regular season games) and a maximum of 15,000 for music or rock concerts.

Sydney - Total: 21,032
Basketball / Netball: 18,200

Brisbane - maximum concert capacity of 14,500 making it the largest indoor live entertainment arena in Brisbane. Sport capacity of 13,500.

I hope the big news they said they're announcing tomorrow is single news. Looking forward to XF Aus performance. Would be interesting to see if they change it up a little bit.

That's what I thought too. When I look at all arena capacities in the US or even in the UK, concerts seem to have the highest. Think it depends on staging though but LM always tend to have a smaller stage without a runway/B stage.

Just because an arena has a full capacity doesnt mean its used. http://www.qudosbankarena.com.au/Ven...ing_Plans.aspx

The good news is they are moving up in Brisbane at least to a bigger place. I think they were at Margaret Court last time too, that may be the only thing in the area.

”

Never said it was. Just simply stating the concert capacity tends to be higher than sporting events.

Anyways, better call it a night. Hope tomorrow is some good news about a single.

Thank you.

Their team should have just released the info today, seeing as publications are already mentioning it.

My point is, I see fans for everybody get all worked up about the full capacity of a venue thinking "they're selling 20k tickets!!!" when the reality is most often a much smaller event. The Manchester example is one. So citing a full venue is misleading. We dont know what they're opening yet.

Yes! Ba flights to Aus here are always at night time, and it if they land is Syndey it's really early in the morning two days later, like 5am their time. So it's like you skip a day, but it's still the day after you left at home.

I know someone who did a 3 day turn around trip to Aus. It's killer on the body!

I was just checking a calendar. They have a whole bunch of promo starting on the 18th? back home so when do they have to leave Aus? Right after XF?

"There's an app for that" but I have to use https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

So it says here that Nov. 14 8 PM Sydney is Nov. 14 9 AM UK? Sydney is 11 hours ahead of the UK.
